Thank you to our users who participated in the NCI Data Services survey at the end of 2016. We've gone through the results and are following up on the findings both as they apply to NCI's research tools and data services as well as what we can do to better support the specific community needs to access and utilise data.
Your responses provided confirmation that centralised access to well-managed data collections is highly valued and gave us some feedback on where we can focus our efforts to continue to improve our available resources, training and user support so that you can more easily use the data stored at NCI.
We will be conducting more hands-on training throughout the year but if you would like to learn more about using the data and our tools and resources then check out our online training resources: https://training.nci.org.au The course modules range from step-by-step instructions on get started with our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure as well as case study examples for more experienced users.
