Congratulations to all of the new 2022 Australian Academy of Science Fellows, and in particular four NCI users who have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to the advancement of science.
The recipients are:
- Professor Naomi McClure-Griffiths, The Australian National University – astronomical and space sciences
- Professor Katherine Belov, University of Sydney – genomics and genetic immunology
- Professor Marcela Bilek, University of Sydney – materials physics and chemistry
- Professor Catherine Greenhill, The University of New South Wales – computation theory and mathematics
It is fantastic to see the diversity of disciplines and range of high-impact science to have come from this set of excellent researchers. NCI's supercomputing, cloud computing, data collections, analysis services and expert support all contribute to the discoveries that these researchers make.
Congratulations to Professor Ute Roessner from The Australian National University, a renowned plant scientist and now close collaborator with NCI as Academic Director, Research Initiatives and Infrastructure.
