Hazard: 10 GigE NCI-AARNET Link
Affected: External network connectivity to NCI services.
Dear NCI Users,
System monitoring has identified further issues regarding network connectivity to NCI services.
AARNET Network Engineers will switch to a 1GBit backup link at 6pm this evening whilst the primary NCI-AARNET 10GBit link is repaired.
During the fail-over, there will be a short hazard period as a small number of TCP sessions and transfers may be affected.
An additional update will be provided tomorrow.
