2016 Lustre User Group

NCI is pleased to host the 2016 Lustre User Group, a dynamic two day workshop which will explore improvements in the performance and flexibility of the Lustre file system for supporting diverse workloads. This will be a great opportunity for the Lustre community to discuss the challenges associated with enhancing Lustre for diverse applications, the technological advances necessary, and the associated ecosystem.

Cost

There is no attendance cost for delegates. Attendees will be required to organise and pay for their own transport and accommodation.

Submitting abstracts

Attendees are invited to submit an abstract with the view to either present a 20 minute talk during the Wednesday workshop or for inclusion in the conference handbook. Abstracts should be no longer than three pages, in PDF format, and are due by Friday 26 August. All topics, including site updates, welcome.

Location

The 2016 LUG conference will be held on the campus of The Australian National University in Canberra, ACT Australia.
The Wednesday and Thursday sessions will be held in the Finkel Lecture Theatre housed in The John Curtin School of Medical Research. Click here for a campus map.

Accommodation

Delegates will book their own accommodation in Canberra.
Suggested accommodation:
University House is on the ANU campus, only a few minutes walk from the conference venue.
Novotel, Hotel Hotel and QT Canberra are all in close walking distance, as are many of the hotels on Northbourne Ave.

Other Vendors

Other vendors can attend as delegates. Abstracts for papers should be submitted by end users.

Training

Delegates are to bring their own device for training. NCI will provide wireless network access.
